Client Case Study Tess Blankenship - When I Grow Up

Client Case Study Tess Blankenship - When I Grow Up Um, do you know that Ive coached hundreds of women since I started offering dream career guidance in 2008? And that these women are freakin rock stars, leaving soul-sucking jobs and traveling the world and launching creative, grown-up businesses and simply doing work that fits their lifestyle goals? Well ya do now and youll hear their stories firsthand in my  Client Case Studies series!  Tess Blankenship  is a current client of mine whos run her business for 3 years and is ready to bring it to the next level. Ive been honored to help her clarify and take action on the work she wants more of and how to best communicate it to her ideal clients. She just went through a total website and package relaunch, and Im thrilled to share her story! Why did you decide to work with me, a creative business coach?   Its no surprise if you know my services, Im a firm believer in outsourcing to get where you want to go faster with tailored expertise. Ive worked with you in the past and I really love your style and fun! Most importantly, I needed your brillant brains as someone whos seen what works with a lot of different online service businesses (no one-size-fits-all) to give me very direct feedback for my business relaunch. What were you doing work-wise when we started working together and what are you doing now? Full time corporate job with an existing side gig and still the same now. The goal in the next couple years will be to make the side gig full time with a consistent pace because I want to enjoy my family and having a life! What was your biggest takeaway from our work together? Direct feedback, focus clarity that resulted in an entire website overhaul of the content and sprinkles of a new look and feel.   Way, way more details on describing the problems and solutions and how it might look and feel for potential clients. A new way to offer my services to make it easier for clients to work with me both  short and longer term. Plus areas to prioritize to reach my target audience for building awareness of how I can help. Think of someone who is currently in the shoes you wore when we first started working together. What advice do you have for her?   Be clear on where you are starting, who you work with, and what hasnt worked. Be specific in what you are trying to achieve so you dont focus on all the things and so youll know if you were successful. Is there anything thats been a game-changer for you when it comes to your business that you can share? Wed love a good resource or a mindset/productivity tip! Simplifying and automating in your personal life is as much a game changer as it is in your business. It can free up time you can use to build your side gig and it doesnt always mean hiring someone. It can be as simple as using online grocery delivery or scheduling recurring tasks/activities/reminder to free up brain space. Whats on the horizon for your business? Wed love to hear about any upcoming offerings or goals! My Business Relaunch Party is this week! Dont leave easy money on the table.
